I am a senior at Huntington Park High School and this is my first time at a journalism conference. I was scared when I was chosen among many of my classmates to go on this exciting new experience. I have little experience with journalism but I hope that this conference will teach me enough to advance my knowledge in this area. When I go back to my classmates at Huntington Park High School, I will teach them everything I was taught here at Cal State Long Beach: NewsPapers2 journalism conference.  I met new people. Kate McLaughing is teaching us(were a class of 6 students).  She is very nice and I like how she gets to the point when teaching. I thank Mr. Lipeles, my journalism teacher, for allowing me this chance to participate in this exciting new adventure.  Go Spartans!!!
